doing ?
We launched PlantFloor Teleportal(tm) to use the Internet to
bring business to the tens of thousands of small shops in the
North American Continent. Next we gather the best
resources of the world in education and training.
We will work with trade associations, educational institutions,
and small company owners to evolve highly specialized (yet simple)
courses and mentoring programs. These will be targeted at
the small, family-owned concern.
Over the next three years, we intend to demonstrate in 12 firms
that profits can be trebled while improving staff recruitment
and retention. Our industry provides us with a challenging
and satisfying profession. We intend to play a role, however
small, in improving how we do things. We believe that
what we do matters to our communities, and to our countries.

Who owns and runs PlantFloor.com,
Incorporated ?
We are a privately held concern at this time. Our boards
of advisors consists of owners of small firms, and those who feel
a personal committment to improve the industry through the Internet.
Our staff is varied: from teenage techies to folks in their eighties.
We are volunteers who believe in the effort. What we do
matters!
We intend to hire more "retirees" and put them in the harness,
so feel free to suggest your friends. After all, who knows the
industry better than someone who has worked in it thirty years?

1. Firms email their information to us.
2. We obtain information that is required by state or federal
law to be made publicly available, and that is registered with
each state. The PlantFloor gathers that data and makes it
easily available to all.

Will PlantFloor.com
go public?
We get asked that a lot these days. If we do, the funding
would enable us to invest more money in training and productivity.
And we could invest in the e-commerce tools that would put hundreds
of small companies on the net, expanding their capabilities
without the heavy costs involved. Additional investors would,
of course, desire "Internet-style" appreciation in share prices.
--- Which might divert us from our primary goals. There
